BDO Unibank's net income up 12% to $357.7m in Q2
Total net income for H1 is $673.86m, according to data from the stock exchange.
Banco de Oro (BDO) Unibank reported a net income of approximately $357.73m (PHP20.98b) in the quarter ending 30 June.
This is 12.07% higher than the $319.2m (PHP18.72b) it earned in Q2 2023.
Gross revenue for the quarter was almost $1.58b (PHP92.59b), versus $1.33b (PHP78.25b) in Q1, according to data from the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE).
Gross expenses also rose, however, to $1.08b (PHP63.13b) in Q2, compared to just $864.49m (PHP50.7b) in Q1.
Total net income for the first six months of 2024 is $673.86m (PHP39.52b), higher than the $601.05m (PHP35.25b) in H1 2023.
Diluted earnings per share is 3.94 Philippine pesos in Q2. In total, BDO Unibank's diluted EPS is 7.41 Philippine pesos for the first half of 2024.
