Asian Banking and Finance launches search for outstanding retail banking innovations and practices
You may submit your entries until May 6.
Digital disruptors are rapidly expanding their footprint across the Asian markets. Now more than ever, retail banks are feeling the pressure to remain relevant and relatable to customers, all the while facing various operational and regulatory challenges.
The Asian Banking and Finance Retail Banking Awards is now on its 11th year of acknowledging Asian banks who, despite the many challenges, stay ahead of the game by delivering outstanding products and services to their clients.
This year, seven new award categories were launched: Digital Banking Initiative of the Year; Social Media Initiative of the Year; New Consumer Lending Product of the Year; Debit Card Initiative of the Year; Graduate Employment Programme of the Year; Automobile Lending Initiative of the Year; and Mortgage and Home Loan Product of the Year.
The Retail Banking Awards brought together nearly 200 senior bankers last year at the awarding ceremonies where more than 60 Asian banks from 28 countries were hailed as winners. "It's great to gain recognition of what our bank had done well and the awarding ceremony run very efficiently," said Sudargo (Dan) Harsono, Head of Retail and Consumer Banking, Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri). Nominations are open until May 6, 2016 (Friday).
The awards dinner will be held on July 21, 2016 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore. For more information, contact Julie Anne Nunez at [email protected].
