BEA unveils MPF asset consolidation bonus programme

Bonus may be up to 1.2% of total assets transferred.

Bank of East Asia (Trustees) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Bank of East Asia, today announces that it has launched an MPF asset consolidation bonus programme for new and existing MPF customers who transfer their MPF accrued benefits of HK$30,000 or above from other MPF service providers to the BEA (MPF) Master Trust Scheme or BEA (MPF) Industry Scheme.

Customers who register with BEA Trustees by calling the BEA (MPF) Hotline on (852)2211 1777 and submit transfer forms during the promotional period from now until 31stDecember, 2013 and successfully transfer MPF accrued benefits of HK$30,000 or above from other MPF service providers to the BEA (MPF) Master Trust Scheme or BEA (MPF) Industry Scheme by 31st January, 2014 may receive a one-off fund unit bonus* with a value ranging from HK$150 to 1.2% of the total assets transferred.

The investment allocation of the fund unit bonus will be the same as the latest fund selection of the voluntary contribution made to the account to be credited. If no voluntary contribution is made, the allocation will be the same as the fund selection of the relevant mandatory contribution.

The fund unit bonus forms part of the account value and is subject to the relevant fees and charges under the BEA (MPF) Master Trust Scheme or BEA (MPF) Industry Scheme.
