What trends make this year an exciting one for retail banks in Asia?
The focus to still serve HNWI (High Net Worth Individuals) and affluent individuals by providing wealth management solution coincide with the trend that HNWI & Affluent individuals use smartphones nowadays. Having understood from recent surveys that 9 out of 10 HNWI would love to have wealth management service to be provided digitally and banking activities is one of top 3 mobile activities in Indonesia, we should focus in revamping our digital platform to serve these individuals.
What are your key business philosophies?
Always think from customer’s perspective, back to basic would be the best approach to check whether we have delivered our product’s promise to customers or not. Products must be customer-focused and we must be responsive to adapt with any change.
