DBS Hong Kong names Betty Lam as managing director, head of HR

Lam had previous served in senior HR positions for HSBC, AIA, and PepsiCo.

DBS Hong Kong has appointed Betty Lam as managing director and head of human resources.

Lam will also join the DBS Hong Kong Management Committee, the bank said in a press release.

Lam is expected to “work closely with the management team to progress the strategic people agenda and create an inclusive and rewarding workplace for a more future-ready, innovative and agile workforce for DBS Hong Kong.”

Lam boasts of a two decade career in HR and has served as head of human resources, Hong Kong since 2015.

Prior to that, Lam served as regional head of human resources, retail banking & wealth management, Asia Pacific from 2014 to 2015 at HSBC.

Lam has also held a variety of senior HR positions at AIA and PepsiCo.
