Hong Leong Islamic Bank names Dafinah Ahmed Hilmi as CEO
She spent the last 19 years working at HSBC.
Hong Leong Islamic Bank has named Dafinah Ahmed Hilmi as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
Hilmi brings with her 23 years of banking experience.
Prior to becoming Hong Leong Islamic Bank’s new CEO, she has held leadership roles in HSBC, covering roles in global banking and markets, global trade and receivables finance, and Shariah-compliant commercial banking products and solutions. She has also worked with UOB Malaysia.

She holds an MBA Graduate from the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK, and holds a degree in accounting and financial management from the University of Essex, UK.
