BNY names ex-HSBC banker as head of APAC corporate trust
Jamie Pratt will lead, develop, and execute BNY’s corporate trust strategy.
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY) has appointed Jamie Pratt as head of APAC corporate trust.
Pratt, who joins from HSBC, is tasked with leading, developing, and executing BNY’s corporate trust strategy in APAC.
During his time in HSBC, Pratt led the Issuer Services business in the Americas region. He provided client solutions across the corporate trust, loans, structured and project finance client segments for both domestic and international transactions.
Pratt has also worked at BNP Paribas in private capital and corporate trust roles.
He has also worked at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank as a securitization banker.
Pratt will be based in Hong Kong. He reports to Cécile Nagel globally and Fangfang Chen locally.
He will also join BNY’s Corporate Trust Executive Council and the APAC Leadership Council.
