JCB and Mandai Wildlife Group offer 50% discount to cardholders

The ticket covers three parks, including Singapore Zoo.

JCB International, a Japan-based payment brand, has teamed up with Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Group to offer JCB cardmembers special promotions to the city’s wildlife parks.

Until 31 December, JCB cardholders can enjoy a 50% discount when availing an admission ticket online to Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The ticket covers Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari & Bird Paradise.

In a press release, JCB and Mandai Wildlife Group said that the promotion aims to boost the number of visitors to the reserve.

JCB stated that it is also part of its efforts to promote destinations that “prioritise sustainable tourism.”

The promotion is expected to benefit over 158 million JCB cardmembers from Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and in ASEAN and Taiwan.

Notably, the number of JCB cardmembers visiting and transacting in Singapore amongst these nationalities grew by as much as 200% between financial years 2019 and 2023, the card payment provider said.

JCB has been making moves to expand into Singapore, with the most recent being a partnership with Maybank Singapore allowing the bank’s terminals to accept JCB cards.
