Dah Sing Bank announces more temporary closure of branches
The bank recently closed its Causeway Bay branch.
Dah Sing Bank has announced two more temporary closures of its branches, following the recent closure of its Causeway Bay Branch in Hong Kong.
Branches to be shut down temporarily will be the LOHAS Park branch and the Wong Tai Sin branch.
The reason for shutting down both branches is that one of the staff in both locations contracted COVID-19. Staff in both branches were notified and urged to take a COVID-19 test and to return to work only after confirmation of negative results.
Meanwhile, customers are advised to visit the nearby branches for banking services and are encouraged to use alternative channels such as Dah Sing Bank’s Phone Banking, e-Banking and Mobile Banking services as necessary.
Dah Sing Bank said it remains vigilant in safeguarding the well-being of both its customers and staff amidst the current developments of the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to implement strict precautionary measures such as body temperature checks and requirements of face masks for customers and staff. Staff who are feeling unwell will be encouraged to stay home to rest or to seek immediate medical advice. Dah Sing Bank is also doing regular cleaning and sanitation.
Earlier in February, Dah Sing Bank announced the temporary closure of 10 branches until further notice during the rise of COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong.
