Maybank opens third branch in Cebu City

Now has 56 branches in the Philippines.

The Cebu Downtown Branch is located on Plaridel St., Cebu City, capital of Cebu province and the center of business in the Philippines’ Visayas region south of Manila.

Maybank said it is confident of continuing its Philippine operations because of its strong fundamentals and adequate capital.

Maybank offers peso and dollar deposits, cash management services, electronic banking, remittance services, trust and fiduciary accounts, mortgage and loans. It also covers trade finance and treasury and foreign exchanges.

Maybank maintains a network of 28 branches in Metro Manila and 28 others in key cities. Its goal is to have 200 branches in the Philippines by 2018. Maybank believes that more branches are needed to bring in more customers.

Another branch in Cebu province will open this month while two more will be added in August.
