UOB, digital firm Getz to help Singapore F&B merchants build online presence

Merchants will only need to pay capped transaction fees.

UOB and end-to-end F&B digital solutions firm Getz have partnered to help Singapore F&B businesses build their online storefronts quickly whilst lowering food delivery costs, according to a news release.

Merchants using Getz’s food delivery solutions will only need to pay transaction fees capped at a maximum of 4% of their online sales, a discount of up to 50% from the usual rates. For those without an online presence, the partnership will help them set up their online stores, complete with digital payment capabilities, in less than a week.

Getz will also provide some cash flow relief by allowing merchants to receive payments in two business days. It will also provide solutions such as QR code menus that will allow customers to browse the menu and pay for their meals using a personal mobile device.

In addition, UOB will grant marketing efforts by featuring merchants on The Dining Advisor online marketplace. It will also offer promotional codes to entice cardmembers into patronizing these merchants to help attract customers and build loyalty.

What is Lorem Ipsum?
What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
